I've used Campagnolo Record and Chorus (C-10 and C-11) chains for over twenty years. This represents about 220,000 miles of riding. With good cleaning and lubrication these chains will last for 4,000 miles or more before they reach the .5 or so wear point. I change out my chains once they reach this wear point. That way, the wear on the cassette and chain rings is minimal. I get about the same wear from a Record or Chorus chain. Save a few grams with the Record and a few bucks with the Chorus.
Key with any chain is keeping them clean and free of grit and sand.
Cons
Cost more than other chains, but last longer, so it's even here.
Other Thoughts
Not as good looking as a Regina Oro chain back in the day. Wear out faster than the old 5 and 6 speed chains. But, that is the cost of doubling the available gear ratios.
