It is very effective in holding the bike's front end in a rigid position.
It can be used when the bike is on the ground, to perform different tasks, it keeps the whole bike under control.
It is a great help when the bike is on the bike rack for service or repairs, to keep the front end from banging up against your head.
It is lightweight, and very simple to operate.
Cons
None.

I have been using it every day since I purchased it.
I like this simple tool very much.
With proper handling and care, this tool should last a very long time.
