The Fork Stand bridges the gap between rollers and trainers. With the Fork Stand, you have the option of using your Kreitler Rollers without having to focus constantly on your balance. For maximum effort intervals, single-leg drills, or sharing your rollers with someone who doesn't want the challenge of riding rollers, the Fork Stand is perfect. Two heights are available depending on the size drum you have. Heights are based on the Standard Kreitler Frame. The Fork Stand can be used with the Kompact Frame, but your bike will be slightly lower in the back than the front.
Fork Stand 3.0/2.25 - Height from floor to front QR 17". Fork Stand 4.5 - Height from floor to front QR 17 3/4".

Perfect for someone who wants to start on rollers

Kreitler Fork Stand: Fork Stand 3.0/2.25
Ownership: more than a year
Tech Knowledge: high
Easy to use
A bit ugly
No quick release
I had a hard time coming up with Cons because I really like my Kreitler equipment and the fork stand works perfectly with my rollers.
I have a set of 4" and another set of 3" rollers and wanted something to use with either set; this is designed for the smaller rollers, but it works fine with the larger ones as well.
My wife wanted to start training indoors and rather than buying a new trainer I figured we could use the rollers I already have. I got the fork stand and we set it up for my wife to use and it works perfectly for her. The rollers are great (as they always are) and the fork stand allows her to use the Killer Headwind attachment so the rollers work as well as any trainer.
Plus, when she's ready she could start just riding rollers without the fork stand.
Ride Rollers Like a Trainer

Kreitler Fork Stand: Fork Stand 4.5
Ownership: a month
Tech Knowledge: average
No adjustment needed.
Some will never understand the need for this product.
Basically, you can convert the rollers to a rear wheel trainer by using the fork stand. There is absolutely no adjustment needed to the rollers as the stand is a couple inches wider than the frame of the rollers.
This stand allows anyone to use the rollers by eliminating the need to balance. This works well for single leg drills, aero bar riding, and for multiple riders in the house, some who may not be ready for the full roller experience.
