Easy to use and a must-have to check the part needing replacement arguably the most frequently, your chain!
Other Thoughts
Can get cheaper tools to measure your chain, but none have the gratifying feel of the CC-2

Lets you know exactly where your chain is at for wear.
Cons
Too nice to carry on your bike all the time, but great for home or shop. A cheap go/nogo guage would be better to carry with you on a long bike trip.
Other Thoughts
Really nice product to have, especially if you live a long way from the nearest bike shop. Generally a chain doesn't last more than 2k miles.

Pros
Works great. Checked chains on my two road bikes. One passed; the other didn't. Replaced the failed chain and now, the drive train is working better, quieter, and smoother. Enough said. More expensive but more precise, well made tool.
