Take M6 bolts (different from all the M5 bolts I was already using on my fenders and racks and eyelets), so be aware you'll need those. Worked exactly as expected: Basically creates another mount point along your brake bridge to give you more options for mounting fenders on road bikes or other frames with caliper brakes with a recessed nut. Creates the mount point cantilevered out from the frame allowing you to mount the frame a bit higher, giving just enough more separation from the tire to avoid tire rub.
Final thought: For the price, this is a good insurance policy for fenders in low clearance frames. I plan on buying a pair of these for every bike that I buy that I intent to put fenders on, just in case.
