Pros
If you are looking for the ultimate in performance from rim brakes for wide wheels and tires, these are it. If you want performance without having to give up your preference for rim brakes, these are it.
Cons
Like all rim brakes, you must anticipate their use when riding in wet conditions.
Other Thoughts
If you want excellent performance in rim brakes for wide rims and tires and do not want to acquiesce to disc brakes, you can't go wrong. As a rider who appreciates quality unique equipment for achieving a "look" these are the best.

I'm tired of every single type of canti brakes squeaking once the toed in pads wear enough to make a flat spot. These cantis actually modulate and the stopping power is supreme. No squeaking.
Cons
Paul USA stuff is expensive.
Other Thoughts
Paul makes some components that are pretty bling-centric -- I consider the stem to be beautiful but superfluous. I'm willing to save up and pay for extremely effective brakes like these. These are an example of a product that happens to be beautiful but the extra cost actually does give you better brakes.
