I've ordered a number of products from Modern Bike and have received nothing but the best in customer service.

Pros

When you need brakes new pads are nothing short of a Pro. I feel much better now that I can stop. It was getting kinda dicey out there.

Cons

A bit on the pricey side but not the fault of MB. They are just as expensive everywhere I looked. Even more so in local shops.

I ordered these replacement pads late in the week and they were delivered in the mail the next Monday or Tuesday. Modern bike is the only shop I have found that uses the preferred method of Us Postal to ship to Alaska. Others will charge you more than the part for shipping and handling. This along with outstanding customer service is why I primarily use Modern Bike.

Pros

Good braking power, little fade even with sustained braking from >30mph. Wear rate seems to be quite low - I've done around 700 miles on these pads, and I've only had to tighten the brakes twice so far. At that rate they should last at least 3000 miles.

Cons

These pads are slightly annoying to fit, but that's just the design of the brake. Braking power is reduced about 50% in rain.

Other Thoughts

I'm using these on a cross bike with aluminium road-style frame and 700x23mm tires. Due to having road bike drop handle bars, there isn't really enough travel on the brake levers for disc brakes. As a result, you have to set the brakes very carefully to be just on the edge of rubbing constantly in order to get enough braking power for safely stopping in traffic from road speeds. A hard wearing, powerful pad is therefore a necessity. These seem to be just that.
