Greatest socks every made by human hands!
Pros
These are the greatest socks ever! The fabric is soft and comfortable, they're warm but don't make my feet sweat, the fit is perfect for riding so my toes don't chafe and they're great for just wearing every day. Also, in the grand scheme of things they're not that expensive.
Cons
Need bigger color selection. I ordered red and it was more of a pink than red.
Love These Socks
I’ve never seen knee high Woolie Boolies in a shop. But I’ve bought several Xc ski socks and snow boarding socks for winter riding. These are the best.
On key to warm feet on a cold day is insulating the lower leg below the knee.
I like these as a base layer to the knee. And even with my long ish legs they go easily to the knee where they meet knickers seamlessly or stay up beneath. A set of gaiters winter boots and an over pant and you are good to go!

These are great socks for any type of activity! I use these exclusively for biking - they are slightly on the thicker side, which feels great in bike shoes in all seasons. For bike packing, they can't be beat - you can wear them for a long time without odor buildup, and they dry quickly.
Cons
They shrink in the dryer. Just air dry them and you'll be fine.
Other Thoughts
Modern Bike had the best price around, and their service + speed of delivery was exceptional!
BAAAD SHEEP are better, butt these are ok

seems like less wool like than other De Feet woolly bully socks-but label says same as Baaad Sheep( i.e. BAAAD Sheep are better- more woolly and yarn like)
these socks are ok- seems like less wool than Baaad sheep socks(the pink sheep ones) and these seem to me to have more polyester treads and less wool, also feet sweat more in these than in the baaad sheep.
But- better than any other wool sock I have tried for cool weather biking, except for baaad sheep which are the best.

Performed as described
Pros
Mother Nature quickly gave me an opportunity to test these socks on a 35 degree ride keeping my feet warm and dry the entire 36 mile ride. During that ride a rider was complaining about wearing 2 socks and still had cold feet. I quickly gave a recommendation for the socks.
Cons
A bit thick but did not feel tight with the shoes.
