Handlebar within reach!
Pros
Manufacturing of stem is top notch. It fit perfectly on the fork stem. Handlebar opening and stem opening dimensions were done correctly -- no issues installing the stem and torquing the fasteners. The 60 mm length of the stem made it easier for me to reach the handlebars as I'm only 5 ft 8 inches tall.

The customer service person/owner of the bike shop helped me select the correct stem and return the other one that was incorrect in size. He was very professional and polite.

This probably the fourth stem I've tried, trying to dial in my old rigid fork Mountain bike as a trekker.
The reason it fits is because Modern bike is the only place I know of where you can see all the choices of length, angle, bar diameter etc. in on place. I knew the sizes that didn't fit, and from the list In could deduce which one would. Thanks, ModernBIKE.

Not their fault but I ended up adjusting my geometry in the wrong way and had to stop using it.

I am an OGIL (old guy in lycra). Riding a LiteSpeed Veneto titanium. Pain in the back of my neck was becoming the limiting factor on my rides. This is a practical device to give a more upright riding position. It is well made, easy to install and seems to be plenty strong for recreational riding. I have been using it for a month and it has improved the comfort of my bike.

I bought these for a single speed townie build with matching same brand riser bars. In that capacity they have worked just fine and stayed looking sharp. They are clearly not intended for heavy XC or more riding. But for your daily city whip the combo is just fine and seemingly will last a while and look good doing so.

What impresses me the most is the paintjob on this stem! It almost looks as good as a German luxury automobile, it's that good!
The welding seems to be solid and high quality!
I also enjoy the allen-head bolts since an allen wrench fits in snugly and deeper than a conventional allen head screw!
Modernbike prices are insanely low (not to mention the fair shipping costs)!!!
