I've used this so far for a number of night hikes only, not on my bike. It's a fantastic bright light. I've yet to even recharge it but every time I've turned it on so far it's been as bright as ever.

StarStarStarStarStar Great Light

by
Ownership: several months
Tech Knowledge: average

Pros

It's been a great light to use on bike rides alone or with a group. One of our group rides my friend's light ran out of power. I then used the highest setting and provided plenty of light for our group. I also use it when walking the dog too. The different settings provide more than enough brightness for any occasion.

Cons

The change from settings is a bit different.

Other Thoughts

Provides great safety and visibility.

StarStarStarStarStar Extremely bright,

by
Ownership: a few months
Tech Knowledge: somewhat high

Pros

Many modes of brightness. If you use often, the 2 amp higher rate charge capability is important.

Cons

Unit gets very hot to the touch if using off the bike.

Other Thoughts

Not to be used as a handheld light for more than a couple minutes. Will burn your hand. If you need a flashlight in your pack, this will not substitute for one.

Pros

The NiteRider Lumina 750 is just a great product. I spent some time researching which bike light was best for me. I choose this light as there were good reviews so I decided on the this make and model. I've had it 3 months and used it on many rides and walks and it is still running on its first charge. It's super bright. Nice design.

Cons

I really don't have one.

Pros

I received my new bike light with much delight. I could tell after taking it out of the box, I liked it from the get go. Solid stream lined, no wires, nothing in the way. You can wrap your fingers around it in the palm of your hand. It's plenty bright for mountain trails at night in the Boise foothills. I'm going to really enjoy riding late in the day, not having to hurry to get home before sunset.

Cons

none

StarStarStarStarStar Just what I needed

Ownership: a month

Pros

Light, easy to use, bright, affordable

Cons

none

Other Thoughts

Bought one for me and my wife to mount on our mountain bikes for our night time urban assault rides. Mounting to the bike was easy enough and with the right amount of tension on the band it has not moved around. The lights stay secure bouncing around over trails and even on the middle setting (I used it to get more battery life) it has been bright enough for our needs. If you don't want a battery strapped to your bike this is a great option.

StarStarStarStarStar Great road light

by
Ownership: a month
Tech Knowledge: average

Pros

Compact size, great light pattern, very bright, very durable - use in all weather. Tough - came off at 50 kph and bounced on the asphalt with no serious damage, just a few dings. Love it!

Cons

Tedious to attach charging cord.

Other Thoughts

Charging socket broke on my old light after 4 years, otherwise light would still be working.

Very bright and lasts a long time

StarStarStarStarStar See and be seen!

by

Pros

Once you learn the button sequence, this light is easy to adjust as you are riding. When we start our group ride just before dusk, I normally set the light on flash mode to be seen by others. As darkness sets in I will switch from flashing to low. This level is perfect if I am in the pack or the back. If I find myself in the lead, I can easily move up 1 brightness level. Rarely have I found the need to ride on the highest intensity, as we have adjusted our route to ride on roads with street lights. It is also very easy to rotate the light on your handlebars depending on how far out front you need your beam to shine. It is also very handy and easy to disconnect the light from the handlebar clamp and use as a hand held flashlight, especially when looking for things in your dark car!

Cons

None identified.
