StarStarStarStarStar Way better than Stan's

by
Ownership: a few months
Tech Knowledge: somewhat high

Pros

Works way better than Stan's no-tubes sealant

Cons

None yet

Other Thoughts

Wish it was less expensive

StarStarStarStarStar Orange Seal is the best tubeless tire sealant I've tried.

by
Ownership: more than a year
Tech Knowledge: somewhat high

Pros

Seals better than Stan's and as well as or better than Continental RevoSealant in same tires and rims under similar circumstances. Seals better up and around the sidewalls. I ride almost anywhere with Stan's in my tires, I ride everywhere with Orange Seal.

Cons

A bit more expensive. Can be a little messy but no big deal.

Other Thoughts

I had two flats in a row that Stan's could not seal and Orange Seal sealed them right up. Also Orange Seal paints or coats the inside sidewalls better and seals side punctures or small tears. It does not clot up (Stan's boogers) like some other sealants.

StarStarStarStarStar Unbelievable deal for the best sealant on the market.

by
Ownership: several months
Tech Knowledge: average

Pros

Unbelievable deal for the best sealant on the market. Stan's may hold fine, but Orange Seal is so much easier to clean up, and I have never had an issue with it.

Cons

None

Other Thoughts

Did a tubeless conversion using clear duck tape on Holy Rolling Darryls. Have added sealant twice since December. No problems, little to no pressure loss, more than impressed. I accidentally left front wheel leaning against my car and started to back up. Car rolled up partially on tire and seal held. At about 18 psi sealant started to seep out through cutouts and a few other places but still never lost air, just sealed right up.

StarStarStarStarStar Best warm weather sealant

by
Ownership: more than a year
Tech Knowledge: high

Pros

Seals larger holes. Doesn't form latex balls in tire.

Cons

Doesn't work in sub freezing temp (although they have a formula for that that I haven't tried). Can clog removable valve core if you aren't careful when letting air out

Other Thoughts

I put it to test during the 300 mile Arizona Trail Race in which I raced a fatbike. An inch long sidewall nick and numerous cacti holes sealed. I was a long time Stan's user before this. Best method of use is to mix thoroughly and pour into tire as the glitter used can sometimes clog up an injector
