Just as wonderful as most web reviews say they are
Tight tolerance bearings that minimize lateral movement
Light brake lever feel, but can be adjusted heavier if desired
Great brake performance
Really quick to release for a tire change
Lots of clearance for large tires
Work with short-pull road levers
Slightly more sensitive than most brakes to cable housing length. They look and work nicer if the cable housing length is set just right. Otherwise, the cable housing can affect the required spring tension setting of the arm.
Replaced a set of Tektro wide-set cantilever brakes with these. The bearings in the Mini-moto helped reduce the amount of toe-in required on the pads to avoid brake judder. In fact, even badly aligned pads have little brake judder. Wheel clearance is good, but expect to have the brakes come in later in the lever pull. Can feel a bit spongy in comparison to cantilever brakes due to flex in the brake arms, frame and pads, but the power, modulation and predictability is great. I shouldn't have waited so long to replace the brakes. These brake the way I expect a bike to brake.
Best rim brake out there for cross bikes - and drool-worthy, too
Serious modulation, stopping power and bling factor
Price/a little tricky to set up
If you're having trouble getting these set up on your bike, def try switching the rounded washers for the brake pads around. Some rim/frame combos need the slim one nearest the rim, others the fat one. That makes setting up a little bit of a pain in the ass, but delivers a HUGE difference in gaining modulation and power without your lever bottoming out.
Well worth the trouble and cost!
Stopping power, easy set up - watch the video on youtube, salmon pads, free sticker.
I replaced old Canti brakes on my CX bike and I can't believe I waited so long to do it. I use my CX bike for commuting and gravel grinder races, and the added stopping power is great for road rides. First time if used them I was caught a little off guard at how little pressure is needed to slow down compared to the old cantis that replaced (this is a good thing) so it took a little getting used to, but I'm loving them now. I'm running 35mm gravel tires right now and they have plenty of room. Been riding in a lot of mud this (very warm) winter and haven't had any issues with build up. Granted it's not as muddy as a CX race, but I don't anticipate any issues there based on my experience so far. I say buy them - you'll be happy with the decision.

profile can get in the way if you are mounting a rack to the fork crown
Placed these on a randonneur bike and was very impressed with the power they provide. They also look really nice, I got the polished version and they match my rims. I did have an issue when I tried to mount a front rack using the fork crown - the top of the brake was exactly in the way. I found another mounting option, but think through your build before purchasing. I would highly recommend depending on your application.
