Pros
Indispensible tool for do it yourselfers. Chainwear is invisible and only a dedicated tool can properly assess the amount of wear and when it's time to swap out your chain.

Not clear on what other brands of chain are covered by this tool.

I am A retired tool room machinist, I have been measuring precision parts for over 40 years, believe me when I say this tool is worthless.
This tool indicates a new chain is almost worn out, Chain reads within new tolerance on my digital caliper, I also use a Wippermann chain gage it’s accurate, fast and easy to use.
