I carry at least two of these with me at all times. Long enough to wrap around my panniers twice. The quick and efficient buckle is stainless so it doesn't rust. Never had one slip or loosen unexpectedly. I love these straps.

Pros
I use this strap to strap my bike to the ferry I take everyday on my commute. It works just like a toe strap, and tools up nicely. It could also work well for strapping bags to a rack, or to strap a bike on a train.
