Something new is different but still it's good.

Pros
There really are no cons to this P25 Panniers: they are slightly bigger than the previous canvas one, but not in any way other than being a good thing. The material is unusual for certain and it does not have the familiar canvas feel, but I'd bet if the old Merchant Sailing ships of days-gone-by, knew of this Oceanweave, they would have made their sail from it. The zippers seem a little smaller, but that should not be interpreted as less durable; in fact, it may prove that they will be better in the long run. The other zippers, on my older panier Axiom went through a lot, and I can't complain, but it is the reason, I had to buy new paniers, for one of the zippers would no longer zip.... I was more than pleased with my previous panier from Axiom of this same size and kind and even though the oceanweave is different, it does seem to be a good material and if the zipper last as long as the older ones do, which I have no reason to believe they will not, then I'd say if you are looking for a panier of this size and kind, you could not do much better that this P25 Panniers, from Axiom
Other Thoughts
Time will tell how these hold up, but I suspect many year will come and go, and these panier will still be doing their job well...

The panniers fit enough gear for a nice long bike trip and are extremely durable, lightweight. Convenient pockets and zippers
