Pretty comfortable from the get go. Did two or three 20-40 mile rides then an 119 miler and it was comfortable the whole way. I was dead but the saddle did well. And it looks cool.

I have a Brooks B67 on my hybrid bike which is great for upright riding. But I tried some other gel and memory foam "comfort" saddles when I bought my new road bike. I thought needed the additional padding due to my rear getting bonier as I'm getting older, and reading the hype regarding seniors needing that cushier type of saddle. They just didn't help with sit bone discomfort. The Brooks B17 Imperial was more comfortable from day one even though not broken in, and I know from experience it will only get better. I would've been better off in the long run buying the higher priced Brooks in the first place. And, Modern Bike had a better price than other places I looked.
