Pros
Springs significantly reduce backbone jarring, better than "pogostick" seat posts. The seat height does not change as you get on the bike makes getting on and off easier (Its important ,i'm 75)
The springs allow a slight "rocking' as you peddle, more comfortable.
This saddle replaced a B17 mounted on a "pogostick" post (put over 1000mi on that one). New saddle has 200mi so far, looking to put many more on it.
Bought another B67S for my daughter

New saddle is rather stiff, put a table spoon of neetsfoot oil on the interior; really helps soften the leather without "oil marks" on riding shorts.

I purchased the Brooks saddle to replace the stock seat on my new Public dutch-style bike. I typically ride a road bike with a narrow road-bike saddle and am accustomed to a firmer seat. This Brooks saddle offers a more stable seat that the over-cushioned stock saddles typically included in up-right bikes. Now I am not having to constantly adjust my bottom on the bike seat now nor am I slipping and sliding on the seat. I'm not sure if the springs on the Brooks saddle make any difference as I had read that they work best for someone over 150 lbs ( I'm 123 lbs). In any case, I love my saddle and it gives my bike a very distinguished look !
