This is an adaptive BB that mates the bottom bracket shell standard directly to the Ultra-Torque spindle; cups are available for BB30, PF30, BB86/92, and BBright Press Fit shell standards
Easy to do with correct tools. My old cups were 17 years old and getting a little ragged looking on the outside. Still functioning perfectly. Replaced while still available.

Bottom brackets must fit the frames interface type. For example, an english threaded bottom bracket can only be installed on a frame that accepts english threading.
