Pros
The tall top cap helps reduce the number of headset spacers used.
On my titanium bike with a straight 44mm head tube and tapered headset the shape of the tall top cap aesthetically blends with the lines of the bike perfectly and looks much better than the standard no-rise headset top cap. The Cane Creek 110 series headsets have a nice jewel-like finish and heavy duty sealed bearings.

Cane Creek 110 Integrated Bottom 1.5" 52mm Black IS52/40

I recently bought a bike with a tapered head tube and the bottom bearing was pretty worn out. I replaced it with the Cane Creek and everything works smoothly, just what you'd want from a bearing.
Rebuild your 2014 Rockhopper headset with this.

Pros
110 line is very high quality at a reasonable price. Have always run King sets until needing to upgrade a 2014 Rockhopper. Decided to try Cane Creek and Im totally satisfied.

Other Thoughts
For all those out there trying to figure out which headset goes in a 2014 Rockhopper if you are changing to 1.5" (to 1.125") tapered steerer tube, this is the exact correct product for the LOWER BEARINGS ONLY. You will also need to get the Cane Creek 110 Integrated Headset Short Top 1-1/8" 41mm for the upper bearings.
