Bought this AGAIN for the third time since it was advertised as
"The friendly ding" which it is
A very nice sounding ding that is friendly and not obnoxious to others.
Made in Japan.

Buy two, one for your road bike and one for your gravel bike or mountain bike.

Pros
Fits great, works flawlessly, polished brass looks like a little jewel on my bike, and priced right! I'm a city rider, this bell is the perfect combination of looks, function, and price!

None, a perfect bicycle bell in my opinion.
Other Thoughts
I've owned vintage rotary bells in the past, they are the best and hard to find. I love the distinctive multi-ring tone they give. This bell is it! Well made, loud but not crazy loud, (I want loud... it's supposed to be a warning device after all....) has a beautiful sound and the heavy polished brass looks great too. I'm happy I found this bell! Nobody I know has a bell like this, its cool!

This bell is loud and somehow not annoying at least to me. The bike path clears up when I strike it!
