I got this for the front wheel of my electric bike build for a little extra peace of mind, since I am not using a through- axle fork. I've ridden around 1000 mi. so far and have a high level of confidence my wheel is going to stay put, even with my 203mm rotor hydraulic front brake slowing down a heavy bike from decent speeds and a myriad of other conditions. The bike is a commuter and gets carried up and down stairs, through difficult doorways, etc... and I don't worry as much about bumping or catching like a normal QR without realizing it.
