Going 12 can be expensive.
Other Thoughts
DT Swiss makes it easy to exchange cassette bodies. This is the least inexpensive piece to convert over to 12 Speed. Eventually, there will be no reason to have a front derailleur. Updating to 12 speed will make your life more simple, no more fighting to tune a front derailleur. No more cables or housing. Unless you ride more than 30,000 miles a year you won't notice the gear inches. Unless, you're one of those people who worry about gear inches.
