Pros

It keeps the chain off the ground. Seriously, it is a fine ring. I used it to convert my compact drive 2 x 11 road bike to a 1 x 11 using this ring and an 11/34 cassette. I have had no issues such as chain drop with it.

As an aside, The climbing gear is almost the same as the stock setup but I lost about 20 gear inches on the big end but so far I have not missed them. I spin out at around 25 mph on 42/11. My medium cage 105 rear derailleur shifts this combination with no issues. I only had to adjust the screw which moves the idler off the big cog ("A" screw?). This setup definitely has some larger steps between gears but I have not found that to be an issue as the stock 2 x 11 setup with 50/34 rings and 11 x 28 cassette had a lot of overlap and was spaced much closer than I need at my level of riding.

If I get stronger I may have to go to a bigger ring and a wider range cassette such as a 46t ring and an 11/42 cassette. I think the stock derailleur will shift this combo with a Wolf Tooth RoadLink. I started with the current setup because I was pretty sure it would work with the stock derailleur and it was the cheaper way to experiment. I may never change it.

Finally, I do not miss shifting the rings at all!

Cons

The only con I can think of is that I had to pay for it.
