Greenfield Standard Kickstand Black: 305 mm
Ownership: more than a year
Tech Knowledge: high
Pros
High quality. Well made. Tough on wear. Looks sharp. Lightweight.
Cons
None.
Other Thoughts
As the folks at Greenfield say, "If it ain't a Greenfield, it ain't a kickstand," and I agree wholeheartedly. A reliable kickstand at a reasonable price.
Make sure to order the right length for your bike.
Gold Standard of Kickstands

Pros
Sturdy, reliable, smooth, and snappy action. Design that accepts rubber foot is a huge benefit, though they do wear out. Although no clamp design can match the strength or security of a factory frame mounting plate, the Greenfield clamp is as sturdy as possible.
Cons
I am a fan of Greefield rear mount kickstands, but the peculiar geometry of a particular chainstay precluded the use of that superior design. The action is so snappy on this kickstand, It might be wise to 'walk it' at least part of the way down. That kind of force has got to take a toll, particularly on thin tubing like my converted vintage Marin.
Other Thoughts
On thin tubing frames, I strongly recommend the full mounting clamp, not the abbreviated clamp for tight spaces. You need to distribute the force of the clamp onto the thin tubing over the greatest possible area. I was able to barely clear my front derailleur cable, but would have filed a notch, if necessary, rather than use the mini clamp on thin tubing. When the clamp screw feels tight, stop. Any more force is likely to deform the tubing. If it seems to 'walk' when snapping open, try a piece of inner tube. My well-weathered paint is not slippery, but I might consider a bit of silicone if the kickstand starts shifting around. Extreme torque is not the answer on thin tubing.
Does what it should

Simple and cost effective. Cut to size of your bike with a hacksaw. It comes pretty long to start, which is nice for a wide range of size.
