I’m pleased to have found Modern Bike as a supplier to my small town, small bicycle repair business, after my longtime vendor seems to be on a long term hiatus. The mere fact Modern Bike carries top quality parts, components and other bicycle related items should speak volumes about them without anyone having to say a word.
I was in a terrible pinch when I discovered Modern Bike. I took a chance and tried them out. I was nervous when I didn’t receive a confirmation eMail concerning my purchase near immediately. I fired off an eMail to support after a few hours asking if they received my order? I expected a reply in about 24 hours. I was VERY surprised to find a reply in about 4 hours. Everything was fine because when I came in to check for a reply from Modern Bike, they had not only replied to my eMail query; according to the eMail time stamp(s), as I was writing Modern Bike the original question, the confirmation for the purchase was probably running to me!
They to made an anxious situation for my customers and myself much better. I was well pleased with Modern Bike in this area too, Modern Bike processed and shipped my order faster, from a farther location, than my previous vendor ever did in 13 years. To say I’m extremely happy is an understatement!

This is excellent shift cable housing that appears to be equivalent to other first rate name brands.
Cons
This cable kit comes with a pouch of 30 plastic end caps. The supplied end caps don't have water seals or metal reinforcement but they should be perfectly fine for most applications. I prefer metal end caps with o-ring seals so I bought a bottle of 50 metal Jagwire 4mm Sealed Alloy End Caps.
Other Thoughts
You will need a quality cable cutting tool to trim this housing to length. An abrasive cut-off tool works well because it doesn't deform this housing so their is no need to re-form the ends.
