Pros
34 degree sweep seems identical to factory Italian trekking handlebars. Double bend/swallow shape maintains cockpit length better than any other design. These avoid tiller effect of a grip far behind the steer axis. Particularly useful in conjunction with a steerer extension. Comparable in quality and shape to Velo Orange Milan. Where 'North Road' style had excessive rise and awkward excessive sweep, these have a natural feel.
Cons
Minimal(about 1 inch) rise. Suitable only if rise need is met by adjustable stem or steerer extension.
Other Thoughts
In my case, I wanted my Italian hybrid to replicate the steering of my Italian 'city/trekking bike. I got the 1" shorter cockpit I desired with a shorter adj. stem, and set my optimal rise with a steerer extension. Now, I can actually use my adjustable stem for different types of riding. High rise handlebars lack grip area, and I recommend using a steerer extension if rise is desired.
