quick & easy to put on bike
not too heavy
Cons
handlebar yoke not large enough to accommodate shift levers mounted on handlebar stem--must have room on stem to mount levers at least 1" below handlebar to provide room for Ubar
square cross-section of portion of Ubar where latch mechanism is located does not sit well in cradles on my older bike rack
Other Thoughts
Despite "cons" mentioned above, I still like this frame adapter. Compared to my old one, which required using a bolt and a clevis pin to attach or detach the unit, this adapter is a snap to put on and take off. I used it extensively this past summer, for transports up to 150 miles, with no problems.
