StarStarStarStarStar An OK tire that's light weight & durable

Product: Maxxis Ikon Tire 29 x 2.20 Black EXC/3C/EXO Folding Maxx Speed
Ownership: several months
Tech Knowledge: somewhat high

Light weight, durable, good straight ahead traction, good for dry conditions, wears good (shows no real wear after 125+ miles in rocky terrain)

A little vague on steering, just OK in turns

Other Thoughts

I was using Panaracer Driver Pro and think overall they are better.

StarStarStarStarStar better but ardent race the best

Ownership: more than a year
Tech Knowledge: high

Low rolling resistance

Limited traction

Other Thoughts

Overall quality and fit on rim is much better than Hutchinson, Schwalbe or Continental. No issues running tubeless. Had used CrossMarks before, they were good but not as good as Ikons. Lack of rear traction with Ikon led to changing to Ardent Race. Much better traction and overall performance. When front gives out I'll be running the Ardent Race both front and rear. I ride very rocky terrain and these hold up extremely well.
