You most likely can’t find a vintage Shimano set of brake shifters that haven’t been worked on, malfunctioning or refurbished. Micro shift 2x8s are the answer. Nope, it won’t match your oldshool setup with its nice black finish but guess what?.. you’ll be clicking and stopping like a champ. The pricepoint is perfect and they work just as well, if not better than the OEM brifters. How much do I love them? I bought 2 sets for my other bike.
