The Nitto Technomic Road Quill Stem is dimensionally identical to the Nitto Tallux quill stem with the major differences being the surface finish and minor hardware details. The Tallux has clear anodize coating over a higher polished surface, and on the Technomic, the handlebar clamp bolt threads into a standard nut verses a custom shaped threaded "nut".

For function, the two Nitto quill stems, Technomic and Tallux, are identical. And the Technomic, without the anodize finish is still a very good looking quill stem suitable for any high quality bicycle.
