I use this lock daily because I keep my bike outside. Due to the coiled cable the lock is somewhat difficult to use - it always wants to stay coiled up. This is a good feature if you carry it with you on your bike, but I usually leave it behind. By bending the cable backwards I was able to straighten it out making it much easyer to install, but not as compact if you intend to carry it with you on your bike.
Overall this seems to be a good product.
