Pros
I was looking for something lighter than what I had, cheap, and a bit higher that what I had. Like so much with each of our bikes, this is something that I needed to make my bike fit better.
Cons
There are no cons right now. Maybe in 5 years ?
Other Thoughts
I encourage everyone to get a proper bike fit, so they know what will do the trick for them to be as comfortable as possible on their bikes. Myself, I always had a bike shop ( thank you Turin) to hook me up when I was in Denver. I am now older, and want to do this stuff myself. This part worked for for me, because I needed to have my hands further in than they were, and a bit higher up.

Pros
I swapped out the road bars for a 2.5 Jones bar and needed this to get the bar height I wanted. Nicely finished and reasonably priced. I never really liked road bars and never used the drops. I also have a set of Profile Design Jammer bars on this setup: gives me another riding position. Different strokes for different folks.
Cons
Dyed-in-the-wool "roadies" frown on this type of setup.
Other Thoughts
When you get old (I'm 75 yoa), unconventional bar setups make for more enjoyable and comfortable rides. I've ridden 30,000+ miles over the past three years.
