Pros
fairly light weight, comfortable, smooth, very easy to install/remove/. foldable
Cons
Flats! I have had 4 flat tires in approximately 500 miles of commuting/errand running, day riding etc. on a touring bike. I was hoping for something lighter than a schwalbe marathon with fairly good puncture resistance. Two of the flats were from fairly blunt pieces of glass. I think a gatorskin or marathon would have blocked them. One was a 1 cm slice in the main tread area from an unknown object. The tread is very soft and the pattern tends to collect small pebbles and possibly glass which might explain the problem.
Other Thoughts
These 700 x 35 tires replaced the WTB 700 x 42 tires that came on my Marin four corners bike. The WTB tires that came wit the bike were suited for gravel/casual trail riding. I am planning on a 4 day Central CA. tour this October. I am shopping for alternate tires to the Pasela. If Continental made Gatorskins in 35 width for my rims I would go that route.

Pros
I have ridden various sizes of this tire for years. I also use premium tires from Compass, that cost a lot more, and they ride little better, if at all, than this one, which also has flat protection.
Cons
won't impress your friends who ride expensive "premium" tires. I did have a bad experience with the 650B size, which inexplicably kept getting flats. Go figure.
Other Thoughts
I hope Modern keeps stocking all the sizes of this tire!
