The universal design of the CWP-7 has a rotating tip pressed into each end of the tool (11.3mm and 16.3mm) so it will remove both square taper and splined (ISIS Drive, Octalink) crank arms. The CWP-7 is made for the 22 x 1mm threading in the common cranks.
Note:The CWP-7 will replace the current CWP-6.

I work on numerous bikes professionally as well as restoration and maintenance of the twenty I own. I have never found fault with Park Tools. Since I also have the crank puller with the handle I had this still in the package until the short handled puller wasn't giving me enough leverage so this did work better. Always good to have on hand.
