Well made, not fragile.
Cons
This tap should be used exactly as described— for chasing existing threads for derailleur hangers. I had a project where I laser cut custom dropouts for a frame, and the tap is not sharp enough to cut new threads ( at least for stainless and cromoly steels). Only use for chasing, not cutting new tough material.

Taps worked great at chasing threads as well as cutting new ones in several custom sets of cranks. Zero issues cutting chromoly and stainless.
