I had a different CO2 inflator that was spring-loaded, and I almost gave up on CO2 because there were so many failures of different kinds. This one works perfectly every time. It's sturdy and the valve just works.
I have one of these in the saddle bags of 3 different bikes.

Nice, easy to use Inflator. Very happy with it, regulates the release of air in a very controlled manor.
Other Thoughts
Once read that many people who have CO2 Inflators have never used them. Make sure you try this once at home, so when you're on the road you know what to expect.
