Pros
This is the part recommended by Specialized to convert their Module road crankset with 30mm spindle over to a Shimano crankset with 24mm spindle. This product is essentially a bottom bracket that allows you to replace a creaky Specialized crankset to a new Shimano. Modern bike got me the order quickly and without fuss so that my shop could install the new Ultegra crankset and I could have quiet rides again. After several rides, maybe 200 miles, my bike is back to being quiet.
Cons
There are no real cons to this, though my mechanic said that the installation procedure was more involved than he though, and he did have to contact Praxis Works to make sure he had a good installation.
Other Thoughts
I contacted Modern Bike to review that I was getting the correct part, as Praxis Works doesn't really show the part numbers, and Specialized had listed the actual part number. MB customer service was great in checking and ensuring I got the right version of the part.
