The FFG-2 quickly determines whether rear frame or front fork dropouts are aligned and parallel. If an error is detected, long handles and comfortable molded grips afford plenty of leverage for straightening. These Park Tool gauges adjust to compensate for various hub widths from 100 to 160mm.

Pros
A well made strong precision tool. It is surprising how many bicycle frames are bent in the rear triangle and dropouts. Perfect realignment can be obtained with this tool using slight pressure on it's long lever arms. l always align the rear dropout flats with it first, then use the Park derailleur hanger alignment tool before attempting to set up any rear index derailleur. It is simple to use and easy to tell you have done the job correctly. Works well on steel frames.
Cons
It can only allow an alignment check on carbon frames since carbon will not bend to accept cold setting. Your friends will want to borrow it.
Other Thoughts
Get the derailleur hanger alignment tool at the same time to do the whole job.
