I have not yet used this cap while cycling. I am still working on the arduous task of converting a trail bike into a city bike with 1.5 inch tires and fenders etc.

A great cycling cap, quality wool fabric, professionally stitched.
Cons
I wish that cap makers would make sized caps. This cap is not tight on my head because of the elasticity of the fabric and the elastic band, so it is perfect as a helmet liner... yet for wearing it around as a weather cover it rides up on my head, mostly because my hair has gotten long. For those with crew cuts this should be a five star cap. My hat size is a European 59...as with most of my body measurements I am caught between sizes.
Other Thoughts
If, unlike me, you are not too geeky or strange to be served by applications of fashion then you should look good in this cap. One big positive about this head wear is that the band is stitched in flush on the inside ( not with one edge of the band floating) so that it will not turn or roll in or out no matter how fast you put it on your head.
