Using the expertise of Wolfram Kurschat, who in his career as a professional cyclist has seen him racing CycloCross as well as MTB, Ergon have created a CycloCross specific saddle. Using a flat platform for the saddle, movement on the bike is unhindered, an advantage over using a standard road saddle. At the rear of the saddle, a slight kick up allows the rider to press back into the seat when putting power down, however it remains flat enough that typical cyclocross maneuvers are possible. The use of a flex optimized saddle shell, and EVA comfort padding, combined with isolated rails which are mounted to the extreme front and rear of the saddle makes for a very comfort- able seat. The cover is robust micro-fibre which makes for increase durability. Base model of the SRX3 series uses a flex optimized saddle shell and CroMo rails. Item Specifications
