Bar Mitts Great for Winter Riding

Pros
Big. Warm. With cuffs on they are good to below 0 F.
You can ride with half-gloves down to below 20 F and preserve feel. I wear a little longer glove but still have open fingertips when it's colder.
You can store stuff in them, like a phone or an energy bar.
I have these on a fatbike optimized for snow riding and LOVE them. They are THE key to making winter riding enjoyable.
Cons
They are so big they slow you down into the wind. In a stiff crosswind, they affect stability and make your steering response slower. I am not exaggerating, but if I wanted to be faster I'd be on a different bike!
Other Thoughts
I would buy again, for sure.

"Bar Mitts evolved from many years of hang gliding and cold winter bicycle rides. During the cold months, I used my hang gliding mitts on top of my bicycle handle bars. Hang gliding mitts are used on a straight steering control bar. As one can imagine, not being on the shifter and brake levers had its downfalls especially when it came to descents and emergency braking.
