Designed for easy pairing with nearly all Surly racks and most other racks on the market, mount this sturdy aluminum platform on top of your current rack to provide a footprint large enough for 30 lbs. of beef jerky, 9-volt batteries, used pinball parts, or whatever else you might need to haul. Available in dark black.

This is a great product for Bicycle touring.... A large platform...for carrying extra things when you need them...
Cons
The new TV tray I bought mounting devices aren't very good I don't think...I will be reinforcing these points with pipe clamps
Other Thoughts
I would highly recommend everyone buy one of these Surly TV Trays it gives you a larger surface for the times when you're on bicycle tour and you need to carry a few extra things...

Pros
I have three of these setup on two 8 packs and 1 front rack. All these racks are Surly and this tv tray has transformed my ability to carry things. It is easily detachable so you can use it for those larger loads or if you want to have a milk create like box up front all the time!
