Pros

Very well made rack system.

The ONLY rack available for adult-frame non-folding 20" mini velo other than racks made for folding Dahon geometry which is quite different.

I learned how to anneal aluminum using candle soot as a heat indicator (see YouTube "annealing aluminum" for technique)..

Cons

Modification required due to interference at seat stays preventing level fit on the Respect mini velo. Front loop bend angle is too shallow. Need to bend the front loop up from original +/- 15 degrees to +/- 80 degree angle. Given that the rack is high temper aluminum alloy, this requires the bends to be annealed first. I sanded off the finish at the bends, coated them with candle soot and heated just those two areas with a propane torch until the soot evaporated. After it cooled, I clamped the loop to the edge of a bullnose countertop using a wood block and two clamps. Increased the bend by gently levering the body of the rack over the rounded edge of the counter. Success - procedure did not collapse the bends on the inside or crack them on the outside. Fit checked out on the mini velo. Primed the loop area and repainted. Installed with P-clamps at the seat stays.
