Put this on our Java (gravel) tandem. Only rode for one ride so far, winter brought snow to our roads. Many of our gravel roads have bad washboard. Maybe the winter moisture smoothed things out, but what appeared like washboard was not as bad as I remembered. Will get a better evaluation after winter snows are gone, but seems to soften the sharp hits.
