Reviews of Bike-Eye Frame Mount Mirror: Wide
Keeping in An Eye Out
Pros
Its a departure from conventional mirrors but once it was adjusted to my sitting position and line of sight it gives me a great view of traffic coming up behind. Much safer than having a mirror attached to my helmet or turning around. Less head movement. The mirror is clear and doesn't vibrate. Well made.
Cons
None
Other Thoughts
My aluminum frame is thicker than a standard steel frame. Might consider making a bracket with wider, more flexible flanges to adapt to wider frames. Would like to see a really tough double-sided tape added as an attachment option.

Pros
As advertised. No vibration. Low profile, fitting tightly to frame head. Nice view of traffic approaching from the rear. Not dependent on handlebar position as it attaches to frame. Very stable. Couldn’t be more pleased. The perfect addition to my custom built fat tire “Stingray”.
Cons
None.
Other Thoughts
Honesty in advertising is a big plus with me. So many other products are touted with unrealistic benefits. These mirrors were honestly advertised!
Great Mirror!
Pros
Provides clear steady view. Rarely needs adjustment.
Cons

Other Thoughts
Wife and I both have this mirror and like it. Just a glance and you know what's coming up behind.

Mounts easily. In a good location.
Cons
Large blind spot

More versatile than the ad.
Pros
Used it on the left side of my 13" risers.
Found it to be adaptable for my cruiser comfort bike. Now I want to get it for my other bicycles too.
Cons
If the bike falls on to left side, it may take a hit because it sticks out to the end of the handlebar.
Works as intended!
Pros
Good for when you are on the drops! Nice big image
Cons
Takes a little longer to focus on compared to a helmet or eyeglass mounted mirror.
Other Thoughts
I use this in conjunction with a helmet mounted mirror. When riding on the hoods and bar, I use the helmet mirror mostly because I can focus on the image a tad faster and I do not have to look down. When riding on the drops with your head down battling the Illinois flatland wind, this gives a nice large view between your legs! Way better than constantly “porpoising” to get the helmet mirror at the correct angle.
Mirrors can be a very personal thing. Some may not like the appendage on their bike. This mirror has been a conversation starter with some people on rides. For my use of club rides and centuries, I find the helmet and frame mirror a good combination and it has increased the safety of my rides.
