After conducting quite a bit of research on bicycle saddles I decided to purchase the Brooks B-17 Special. I purchased it with the knowledge that it requires a longer than average break-in period.
At this time I have 220 miles on it. Most of my rides were 10 mile rides, but the last 3 rides were 20 miles each. The first 2 rides were uncomfortable and I took a day off. The next ride was better. The rides have gradually become much better and it appears that the saddle will be as comfortable as expected.
At this point I am happy with my purchase and see no reason why it shouldn't become as comfortable as those who have all ready broken theirs in, said they are.

I have an India made Brooches saddle which came on a rickshaw I bought a couple of months ago.
I can tell the difference.
B17 saddle looks great on the bike

Beautiful hoping Brooks reputation lives up to my bottom's expectations. 400 miles from now should have answer or ( full of lamitation.
But at the price, Modern Bike exceeded all expectations!
