9 year old granddaughter is taller than 12 year olds...she has already gone through a Trek and another Raleigh. This Raleigh (7 speed, disk brakes was purchased for her last year and she's already outsizing it so I swapped out the seat and installed this stem to give her another year with the bike before I put her into adult woman's size. Great investment...huge savings over buying another quality new bike this soon.

Got the desired results by using this stem. I had traded bikes and could not get comfortable on my new bike until I changed the stem. I love to ride but not when uncomfortable. This is a quality product and I would suggest it to anyone requiring these dimensions.

Getting older so needed a less aggressive riding position. This stem raised me up to a much more comfortable position for long touring rides. Recommend for long ride. Probably don't want it for crit races.
