Brilliant and comfortable
Pros
Love these! Nice platform for resting your palms during longer rides. Your whole hand can be relaxed, yet you have good control of the bike. Standing up to crank up a hill? No problem. These can handle aggressive riding as well. My mountain bikes and winter commuter bike have these. They even have survived some crashes just fine... better than me!
Other Thoughts
Put some double-sided tape on the bars before installing to prevent these from pivoting during hard riding.
Ergon GP1-S
I have a problem with numbness in my hands on long bike rides. These grips have really fixed the problem for me. No more numbness.
Katy trail
Pros
Bought these to ride the Katy trail with my hybrid Specialized. Easy to install, secure, easy to adjust. Provides additional ergonomic hand positions to alleviate numbness while riding. Finish and function excellent
Cons
I dropped my bike and totally scuffed one of the end caps on the grip. Would be nice if that material was a little stouter for klutzs like me.
