Great all purpose tire
Pros
2.4" width is great for soaking up the off road terrain and rolling fast. Tread grips quite well in all conditions. These tire work well as a front or rear tire.

Good mid weight tire

Good volume, fast rolling, reasonable weight for a 29 x 2.25 tubeless ready tire with extra sidewall protection.
Cons
The Forekaster came out after I bought this tire. Larger volume, wider tire, and less weight
This tire Rips!
Pros
Grips in all kinds of conditions. Plenty of knobs that provide enough grip to rip but not so aggressive to affect rolling resistance. This tire is fast. Tough side wides and great compound. Tire weight not bad for a durable fast all arounder.
Running this tire in rear. It is much better than my previous go to Specialized Ground Control.
Price is good compared to other similar tires. Got good deal here.

Other Thoughts
Running this on the back with a 2.4 ardent on the front. Love the combo for Florida trails. Loose over hard, hard, loose, and slightly wet. Ran several other tires and this is my favorite so far.
