I love that Modern Bike, with all of its videos and tutorials about how much better “modern” things are, sold me the best ever piece for completing a vintage bike refurbishment. I inherited an old Raleigh touring bike, and I just needed wider and deeper bars to get in my ideal road position. The Nitto B 132 fits the bill perfectly. I did not want funny angles or flat spots on the drops, nor did I need aerodynamic internal cable routing. I might just get another set for my racing bike, and I’ll take on anyone with a plastic frame and disc brakes. Position, hub quality, and tires make a bike faster (in that order), and most expensive accessories do not.

I bought this bar for a "retro" build. I actually prefer the Nitto Noodle (No.177), but this is a nicely made bar at a great price.

Pros

I dislike the typical handlebars these days that offer little space to move one's hands and have the usual upswept curve.

I have big hands and these bars are mounted with the bottom parallel to the ground, not canted upward. There is a lot of room to move around on them even with the bar shifters I use on my Surly Long Haul Trucker.

The bars are very well made and light in weight and certainly not expensive compared to most.

Nitto has a reputation for excellent bars. This is the second set of theirs I have owned and have no complaints.
